What makes “The Best” Open Toe Foot “the best” is that it not only has an extra large opening in the front giving greater visibility, but the front toes are wider which means more foot is holding the fabric than the standard open toe foot. In addition, there is no cutout for the Dual Feed which is best not used with decorative stitches as it hinders the delicate formation of the stitching and does not hold the fabric as securely as a full soled foot with no opening. Both of these differences give more stability and precision as you sew with less tunneling as wide decorative stitches form.
