Necessary for Zipper and Trim Insertion
The Singer Narrow Zipper Foot excels over wide zipper feet in that it rides closer to the zipper teeth or trims for a perfect finish. Your machine will need to be able to move the needle position left or right of center in order to use this foot. Includes instructions.
The Singer Narrow Zipper Foot is also used for sewing on trims, snap tape and other bulky items where you need to stitch close to the trim where the standard presser foot would get in the way.
Snap on foot. IMPORTANT! Use the "COMPATIBILITY DETAILS" tab to know which feet fit your Singer model.

Singer has had so many models made by so many different manufacturers with all three major shank styles, it's impossible for there to be an accurate list of models to tell which model uses which feet, so you will need to check your machine yourself with these easy instructions.
If your Singer model has the wide 6mm snap on shank on the machine, you can use all the snap on presser feet in this category as well as the low shank presser feet which screw onto the machine, no shank needed. If you have a model with the older narrower snap on shank on your machine, you will need to purchase the new wider 6mm snap on shank here: S-5011-1.
Unless your machine has a slant needle and shank (when viewed from the left side of the machine) your machine is a low shank machine and uses all of the low shank screw on presser feet in this category.
- Singer SE9180 uses Viking presser feet
- Singer Featherweight C240 uses Pfaff presser feet
- We do not sell feet for the older Singer slant needle machines.
