The Pfaff Straight Stitch Foot is wonderful for seaming fine tightly woven fabrics. The single hole guarantees perfect straight stitch seams. The Pfaff Straight Stitch Foot is also well suited for quilting and patchwork such as when sewing the hand look quilting stitch as the small hole provides a better stitch formation. Allows you to use the Dual Feed.

-Models 1229, 1222, 1221, 1217, 1216, 1215, 1214, 1213, 1212, 1211, 1209, 1199, 1197 & 1196 are all high shank. Models that came with Pfaff's high snap on shank can use Pfaff style snap on presser feet. There is no longer any adapter to allow the use of Pfaff snap on feet. Generic snap on and generic low shank feet cannot be used on these models.
