The fixed right guide on the Pfaff Seam Guide Foot is 5/8" from the needle and assists when sewing seams and keeps the seam allowances at the same distance from the edge throughout the project. Lines for other seams such as 1/2", 3/8", and 1/4" are marked on the foot allowing you to also sew the other popular seam allowance widths. A valuable presser foot for beginners! Includes instructions. Allows you to use the dual feed.

-Models 1229, 1222, 1221, 1217, 1216, 1215, 1214, 1213, 1212, 1211, 1209, 1199, 1197 & 1196 are all high shank. Models that came with Pfaff's high snap on shank can use Pfaff style snap on presser feet. There is no longer any adapter to allow the use of Pfaff snap on feet. Generic snap on and generic low shank feet cannot be used on these models.
