The Pfaff Open Toe Sensormatic free-motion foot is used for free motion embroidery and quilting. The transparency of the foot and the open toe gives an unobstructed view of your sewing area.

-Models 1229, 1222, 1221, 1217, 1216, 1215, 1214, 1213, 1212, 1211, 1209, 1199, 1197 & 1196 are all high shank. Models that came with Pfaff's high snap on shank can use Pfaff style snap on presser feet. There is no longer any adapter to allow the use of Pfaff snap on feet. Generic snap on and generic low shank feet cannot be used on these models.
