The Pfaff Open-Toe Free-Motion Spring Foot is used for all free-motion sewing and quilting. The open toe of this foot allows you an unobstructed view of your work while the spring motion keeps the fabric from flagging as can sometimes happen with the "floating" free motion feet. This keeps the threads from breaking and provides you with the best possible stitch quality.
Fits only Pfaff models with the presser foot Sensor System.

-Models 1229, 1222, 1221, 1217, 1216, 1215, 1214, 1213, 1212, 1211, 1209, 1199, 1197 & 1196 are all high shank. Models that came with Pfaff's high snap on shank can use Pfaff style snap on presser feet. There is no longer any adapter to allow the use of Pfaff snap on feet. Generic snap on and generic low shank feet cannot be used on these models.
