Quickly gather a single layer of fabric or gather and attach a ruffle in one step to a flat edge with the Pfaff Gathering Foot. Also referred to as a shirring foot, the Pfaff Gathering Foot is suitable for light to medium weight fabrics. The lighter weight the fabric, the more it will gather. Includes instructions.

-Models 1229, 1222, 1221, 1217, 1216, 1215, 1214, 1213, 1212, 1211, 1209, 1199, 1197 & 1196 are all high shank. Models that came with Pfaff's high snap on shank can use Pfaff style snap on presser feet. There is no longer any adapter to allow the use of Pfaff snap on feet. Generic snap on and generic low shank feet cannot be used on these models.
