The Pfaff Generic Free Motion Couching Foot is designed to let you sew over cords and yarns as you do free motion stitching on quilts or other embellishment projects. The Pfaff Generic Free Motion Couching Feet can also be used for couching on embroidery machines when doing outline quilting in the embroidery hoop. Includes three feet with openings of: 1.5mm, 2mm & 3mm for various sizes of cord and yarn. You can also use the Pfaff Generic Free Motion Couching Feet for quilting “ruler work” as they are 1/4” from the center to the outer edge of the foot. Includes complete instructions.
For easy threading of the yarn though the foot, we recommend the serger looper/needle threader sold below.

-Models 1229, 1222, 1221, 1217, 1216, 1215, 1214, 1213, 1212, 1211, 1209, 1199, 1197 & 1196 are all high shank. Models that came with Pfaff's high snap on shank can use Pfaff style snap on presser feet. There is no longer any adapter to allow the use of Pfaff snap on feet. Generic snap on and generic low shank feet cannot be used on these models.
