Use the Pfaff Couching/Braiding Foot to sew over thick yarn, braid or other trims using a zig-zag or a decorative stitch. The guide on the Couching/Braiding Foot lets the trim feed through smoothly so you can focus on guiding your work. Allows you to use the dual feed.

-Models 1229, 1222, 1221, 1217, 1216, 1215, 1214, 1213, 1212, 1211, 1209, 1199, 1197 & 1196 are all high shank. Models that came with Pfaff's high snap on shank can use Pfaff style snap on presser feet. There is no longer any adapter to allow the use of Pfaff snap on feet. Generic snap on and generic low shank feet cannot be used on these models.
