Pfaff Generic Bi-Level Presser Foot Set
Choose options
The generic Pfaff Bi-Level Presser Foot Set is a set of two presser feet designed to sew on uneven edges that occur on thicker fabrics and trims. One foot is for sewing to the left of an edge and the other for sewing to the right of an edge. The underside of the foot has a recess for the bulky seam to pass, the remaining lip guides along the edge keeping the edge a perfect distance from the needle for the most professional topstitching ever! These feet work best on sewing machines that have adjustable needle positions. Depending on the machine, you can sew directly on the fabric edge to approximately 3/8” from the edge and anywhere in between.
Use the Pfaff Bi-Level Presser Foot set for:
- Topstitching thick fabrics such as denim, wool, corduroy, leather, gaberdine or sewing on any fabric where the layers add up to more than 1/8” in thickness
- Topstitching visible hems into place
- Attaching quilt binding, the Bi-Level Foot rides perfectly along the seam to keep your topstitching even
- Sewing on straps, webbing or thick braids and trims. The foot securely guides the trim for even stitching all the way down the trim
- Sewing belt loops and narrow straps; uneven topstitching really shows on narrow straps, now, you don’t have to worry about that happening!
- Sewing lapped seams with an overlock stitch, such as on terrycloth. Durable professional looking thanks to the Bi-Level Foot
- Sewing on Velcro with a standard foot usually leaves you with uneven stitching that looks homemade on the outside layer. The hollowed out section of the Bi-Level Foot keeps the stitching perfectly straight on the more difficult to sew “hook” side of the tape
- Decorative stitching gives a designer touch to any sewing project and the Bi-Level Foot guides it perfectly!
No matter what category of sewing you do the most, from garment sewing, home dec sewing, craft sewing or quilting, all sewers need a set of Pfaff Bi-Level Presser Feet to achieve the easiest most polished looking topstitching!
