Couch 1-3 Decorative Cords
The Pfaff Three Groove Cording Foot allows you to couch one to three cords at a time with a satin stitch, giving you a raised three dimensional effect, try it with applique and free form passementerie. Cords such as perle cotton or Pearl Crown Rayon are the ideal size. Use an open decorative stitch to create a braided trim look along a hem of trousers or home dec items.

-Models 1229, 1222, 1221, 1217, 1216, 1215, 1214, 1213, 1212, 1211, 1209, 1199, 1197 & 1196 are all high shank. Models that came with Pfaff's high snap on shank can use Pfaff style snap on presser feet. There is no longer any adapter to allow the use of Pfaff snap on feet. Generic snap on and generic low shank feet cannot be used on these models.
