Choose options
Also Known As An Even Feed Foot or Dual Feed Foot
The Janome Walking Foot is used for even feeding of fabric layers. The Walking Foot has an upper feed dog that grips the top layer of fabric to feed it as precisely as the machine feed dogs move the bottom layer, there´s no more shifting! Great for quilting or matching stripes and plaids. The Walking Foot is also ideal for sewing napped and other difficult to sew fabrics that tend to creep, slip or stretch while you are sewing. A straight stitch is generally used, though other utility stitch patterns and some simple decorative stitches can also be used as necessary.
The Janome Walking Foot includes an adjustable edge guide so you can easily stitch a chosen distance from the edge of a fabric or from a previously sewn row of stitching. Great for linear quilting and deep hems on draperies, etc. Detailed instructions included.
The low shank walking foot is a regularly stocked item, the high shank walking foot is a special order item and takes an additional 7-10 days to arrive. IMPORTANT! Use the "COMPATIBILITY TAB" to know which feet fit your machine.

HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR SHANK HEIGHT
Janome has made so many machines, even they do not have a comprehensive list of each model. Fortunately, it’s easy to tell which feet fit your machine.
- Check your shank height using the photo above as a guide
- Know your machine's stitch width, either 7mm or 9mm
- Each snap on presser foot will indicate whether it is a 7mm stitch width foot or a 9mm stitch width foot.
- Screw on feet are available in either low shank or high shank.
--Machines with a front-loading removable vertical bobbin case, your machine uses feet from our Generic category.
--Swiss made Elna machines, you will need presser feet from our Generic category.
--Older Kenmore super high shank machines, we do not have feet available for these machines.
