All Four Free Motion Feet In One Package!
The Janome Convertible Free Motion Foot Set is four free motion feet in one! Swap out the different soles to accomplish different tasks:
- A closed toe sole for general free motion sewing, provides the best stitch quality
- An open toe sole for better visibility, used for following desgin lines and for thread painting and thread sketching
- An echo quilting sole for even echo stitching around shapes, it allows you to zig zag as well and has a beveled edge for effortlessly gliding over different thicknesses
- And a ruler sole for sewing with “rulers” (templates)
Many quilters prefer the Convertible Free Motion Foot as it does not "hop" up and down like traditional darning feet, eliminating the distraction of the foot moving as you sew. The foot height can be adjusted perfectly for all fabric thicknesses. Includes instructions.
Be sure to watch our instructional video above to learn all about the Convertible Free Motion Foot Set!
This foot is for low shank models only. You will need to move the needle potion to the left two positions to center the needle in the foot. IMPORTANT! Use the "COMPATIBILITY TAB" to know which feet fit your machine.

HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR SHANK HEIGHT
Janome has made so many machines, even they do not have a comprehensive list of each model. Fortunately, it’s easy to tell which feet fit your machine.
- Check your shank height using the photo above as a guide
- Know your machine's stitch width, either 7mm or 9mm
- Each snap on presser foot will indicate whether it is a 7mm stitch width foot or a 9mm stitch width foot.
- Screw on feet are available in either low shank or high shank.
--All Janome, Elna & Kenmore machines with a front-loading, removable, vertical bobbin case, your machine uses feet from our Generic category.
--Swiss made Elna machines, you will need presser feet from our Generic category.
