The All New Improved Walking Foot With Interchangeable Snap On Soles For Different Tasks
The Husqvarna Viking Interchangeable Dual Feed Walking Foot with changeable soles is used when precision matching of plaids and stripes is needed and when sewing problematic fabrics and layers such as when quilting or sewing on lofty fabrics like Polar Fleece, Minky or Cuddle. The Interchangeable Dual Feed Walking Foot grasps the top fabric and "walks" along as the machine feed dog moves from below, resulting in perfectly matched, plaids and stripes, evenly fed quilt layers and problematic fabrics and long lengths of any fabric coming out perfectly even at the end of the seam. Snap on the Changeable Straight Stitch Foot when sewing seams for maximum support and control of the fabric. Snap on the Changeable Open Toe Foot for using the zig zag and decorative stitches up to 7mm wide for other utility sewing or crazy quilt stitching. The Husqvarna Viking Interchangeable Dual Feed Walking Foot can be used with all practical stitches as well as simple "open" type decorative stitches. Includes edge guides for both left and right sides, allowing you to follow a certain distance from an edge or previous line of stitching. Includes complete instructions.
There are four optional soles that can be purchased in addition to the two standard soles that come with the Husqvarna Viking Interchangeable Dual Feed Walking Foot: a 1/4" seam guide sole, an open toe satin stitch sole, a decorative guide sole, and a stitch in the ditch sole. Viking low shank foot fits the following machines: Epic models without dual feed, all Designer models, Topaz, Sapphire, Opal, Emerald 203 & 183, Jade, Quartz, Onyx, Platinum, Rose, Iris, Freesia, Scandinavia, Lily, Interlude, Prelude, Daisy, Sew Easy, etc as well as the 350, 400, & 500 models. IMPORTANT! Use the "COMPATIBILITY DETAILS" tab to know which presser feet fit your Viking model.
Husqvarna Viking Presser Feet
- The genuine Viking feet snap on or screw on and do not require an adapter.
- The generic snap on presser feet will require the Generic Viking Snap On Shank and new longer presser foot screw.
- The generic low shank presser feet screw directly onto the machine with no adapter.
