Husqvarna Viking Clear Adjustable 1/4" Foot

Replaces discontinued Clear 1/4" Piecing Foot 4129274-47.

Sew a perfect 1/4" seam when using the Husqvarna Viking Clear Adjustable 1/4" Foot. Simply guide the edge of your fabric along the right edge of the foot for sewing a perfect 1/4" seam every time. Red lines mark 1/4" & 1/8" pivot points in front of and behind the needle so you can pivot perfect corners. An essential foot for quilting, the Husqvarna Viking Clear Adjustable 1/4" Foot is also great for topstitching when garment sewing and for use on craft projects too.

What makes this foot different than the standard 1/4" foot and "adjustable" is that the needle opening is slightly wider. This width allows you to move the needle position slightly left or right (up to three positions) to achieve a perfect 1/4" seam. This allows you to sew a scant 1/4" seam or if your machine's needle is not dead center as it should be, you can move the needle to have an accurate 1/4" seam. NOTE: You can use the straight stitch needle plate only with the center needle position. To sew a scant 1/4" seam, you will need to use your standard zig-zag needle plate.
