Stitch a Precise Distance From an Edge or Stitch In the Ditch & Other Handy Uses
The Bernina Adjustable Seam Guide attaches around the presser foot shank and works with just about any presser foot. There are two adjustment screws so that you can slide the guide 1 5/8" to the right of the needle along the ruled bar for stitching along an edge or a previous row of stitching. What makes the Bernina Adjustable Seam Guide unique is that you can also center the guide in front of the needle for perfect stitching in the ditch or bridging two fabric edges together. Think of all of the possibilities such as:
- stitch in the ditch quilting
- pintucks
- hems
- sewing laces together
- bridging
- channel quilting
- more accurate seam allowances for beginners
- a guide to follow unusual seam allowance widths or distances greater than marked on your needle plate

The Adjustable Seam Guide can only be used with generic snap on and low shank feet on the #75 Bernina Adapter, it cannot be used with any of the Bernina one-piece presser feet.
Bernina Presser Feet
Most of the presser feet in this category are generic feet that are guaranteed to work as perfectly on your Bernina as the much more expensive Bernina made presser feet. To use generic feet, all you need is the Bernina adapter sold below on the page. The snap on shank on entry level Bernina models will not work with any other feet than the snap on feet that came with your machine. You will need to purchase our adapter.
