The Bernette Gathering Foot or shirring foot allows you to easily gather a single layer of fabric or gather one piece while stitching it flat to another piece. Using the gathering foot, the process is easily done by increasing the stitch length and thread tension. Includes instructions.

-Bernette b77 & b79 models: You must purchase the Bernette Snap On Shank in order to use any of the snap on feet in this category, the snap on feet in this category do not fit the shank on your machine. Low shank feet screw directly onto the machine unless otherwise excluded in the item details.
-Bernette models 330, 410, 420, 430, 440, 680, 705, 715, 720, 730 & 740 can use any low shank feet in this category. To use snap on feet, you will need to purchase the Bernette Snap On Shank. Only the feet that came with your machine will work with the snap on shank that came with the machine.
