The Edge Guide Guarantees Perfect 1/4" Seams
Bernina Patchwork foot # 57 with guide differs from Bernina Patchwork foot # 37 only in that it has a built-in seam guide along the right edge of the foot. It is therefore particularly suitable for patchwork projects with 1/4” or 1/8” seam allowances. Other precision sewing techniques requiring a perfectly straight seam also benefit from the use of Bernina Patchwork foot # 57 with guide. Here, the edge guide is placed directly against the fabric edge or seam line to yield straight spacings and lines when sewing.
A further improvement has been made on this aftermarket foot as the guide has a base designed not to fall into the feed dog hole on 9mm models and get stuck which happens with the Bernina made #57 foot. Includes instructions.

Bernina Presser Feet
Most of the presser feet in this category are generic feet that are guaranteed to work as perfectly on your Bernina as the much more expensive Bernina made presser feet. To use generic feet, all you need is the Bernina adapter sold below on the page. The snap on shank on entry level Bernina models will not work with any other feet than the snap on feet that came with your machine. You will need to purchase our adapter.
