SEW RED is a wall hanging with a simple design of squares within squares. The squares are an exquisite silk dupioni fabric framed by black sashings of 100% cotton fabric. The vibrant reds and pinks contrast but coordinate with muted rusts and browns making this striking color palette neither too bright nor too dark but just perfect! SEW RED was a campaign within the sewing industry to raise awareness for women’s heart disease. The manufacturer of the fabrics purchased to make this wall hanging donated a portion of their proceeds to the SEW RED campaign, so by purchasing this art, you will be supporting this worthwhile cause.
Measures approximately 70 inches by 70 inches. Keep in mind this quilt will be folded up in shipping, so it will arrive with some wrinkles and folds. A light press with plenty of steam from an iron or a professional steamer will relax the wrinkles and allow it to lie flat and look its best.
