Colorful Columns is designed to either be a grand wall hanging or to be used as a throw. There is no batting between the quilt top and backing, so it is not at all a puffy quilt, just two layers of premium weight Kona cotton fabrics. Triangles and other geometric shapes are appliqued and nestled among the various strips of color. Triangles that are three-dimensional break up the magenta sashing strips in between, giving this piece a three-dimensional look and breaking up the colors even more so that it just becomes an absolute kaleidoscope riot of color everywhere you look!
Measures approximately 49”x72. Part of the quilt is hanging behind the railing so it appears shorter in the photos. All fabrics are 100% cotton. Machine wash gentle cycle, cold water, no bleach. Keep in mind this quilt is made of 100% cotton fabrics so it will arrive with some wrinkles and folds from being folded in shipping. A light press with plenty of steam from an iron or a professional steamer will relax the wrinkles and allow it to hang flat and look its best.
