The Bernina Free Motion Couching Foot is designed to let you sew over cords and yarns as you do free motion stitching on quilts or other embellishment projects. The Bernina Free Motion Couching Feet can also be used for couching on embroidery machines when doing outline quilting in the embroidery hoop. Includes three feet with openings of: 1.5mm, 2mm & 3mm for various sizes of cord and yarn. You can also use the Bernina Free Motion Couching Feet for quilting “ruler work” as they are 1/4” from the center to the outer edge of the foot. Includes complete instructions.
For easy threading of the yarn though the foot, we recommend the needle threaders sold below.
This is a generic presser foot. To attach to your machine, you will need the Bernina shank adapter sold below which can be used for all presser feet in this category. To find out if your machine is an “old style” or “new style” model, click here.
