Aurifil Cotton Mako 50 weight thread is made from Long Staple Egyptian Cotton and is ideal for patchwork piecing, quilting, machine embroidery, lace embroidery and general sewing with natural fibers. Aurifil Cotton Mako is very uniform in size making it much less linty than cheap cotton threads, this also makes for perfect stitch formation. The mercerization process also gives it a subtle sheen not found in most cotton threads.
