For Sewing Non-Elastic Knits
Schmetz Jersey/Ball Point needles are best suited for tightly knitted fabrics with little stretch to them. The rounded point gently separates the yarns without cutting the fibers. Also use Schmetz Jersey/Ball Point needles when sewing or embroidering on any fabric when skipped stitches are occurring. The specially designed scarf allows a larger loop to form in the upper thread for the hook to more easily catch, thus eliminating skipped stitches.
