You easily place the button into the foot with the ingenious placement tool provided. Slide the pin forward to allow a thread shank to be made for sewing buttons on coats and jackets, or slide the pin back to sew buttons without thread shanks. Use either the button sew on program or a zig zag stitch and you are finished! Buttons sewn on with the Husqvarna Viking Button Foot with Placement Tool will stay sewn on for good!
