This reader/writer box converts embroidery formats to your home embroidery machine format, then gives you the ability to save to various medias. The included rewritable flash card has a huge capacity for designs, and will allow you to:

• Save your selected designs to a rewritable memory card, floppy disk, ATA card, Smart Media, or your embroidery machine.
• Quickly relocate or save groups of designs to various media including CD-ROM, USB flash drive, floppy disk, your computer's hard drive, and removable disk drives.
• Select designs using the “drag and drop” feature from Windows® Explorer.
• Read designs from a memory card and saves them to your computer's hard drive
• Select designs for conversion from various media including CD-ROM, USB flash drive, Floppy disk, your hard drive, and removable disk drives such as Smart Media and Compact Flash cards. You can select designs using the "drag and drop" feature from Windows Explorer.
• Write selected designs to a rewritable memory card, floppy disk, ATA card, Smart Media card, or select embroidery machines. As the designs are being written their formats are automatically converted into the appropriate home embroidery machine format

The software is very easy to install and use. You get the converter box, installation CD, instruction manual, USB cable for PC connection, and one Rewritable Card.
