A straight stitch needle plate provides much better results when working with very fine fabrics as well as knit fabrics. The small needle hole prevents these delicate fabrics from being drawn down into the needle hole and jamming. Also perfect for quilting and embroidery as you will have a nicer stitch quality.
This plate also features the familiar Imperial markings; 1/8" lines left to right, as well as in front of and behind the needle, just perfect for pivoting corners.
